Biography

GERALD J. ASAY is a partner of KRACHT HUDDLESTON ASAY, LLP. Gerald’s practice is a business-oriented law practice with a significant concentration in construction matters, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Gerald advises and represents clients, including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and sureties in a wide variety of construction-related disputes.

Gerald has handled matters involving construction and design defects, payment disputes, contract documents, change orders, bid disputes, licensing issues, unforeseen site conditions, and scheduling disputes, delays, disruptions, and inefficiency claims arising from public, industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects.

Gerald has an undergraduate degree in Building Construction from Auburn University and worked as an assistant project manager with Yates Construction before graduating from LSU Law School in 2008. Gerald is admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
